2017 Fresh Olive Update
The olives are looking good, all varieties are growing nicely. The fruit size is still up in the air, sometimes a large quantity of bloom will lead to a smaller fruit size, but there are a lot of factors that affect fruit size. We will have to watch for heavily fruited limbs and trim those that are likely to break, to prevent too much fruit loss.

We are sorry to say that we will not be offering fresh black olives for sale this year. We have experienced an increasing amount of damage claims for black ripe fresh olives in dealing with UPS and FedEx. The rougher handling and more delicate nature of the black olives make shipping the black olives economically unfeasible for us.
Lucques and Manzanillas will be available a week or two after the Sevillanos, and we might offer green Kalamon if the trees produce a justifiable quantity. We will keep you posted on the progress of this years crop. This information will also be on our Facebook page and on our webpage.
Sincerely,
The GreatOlives Team
