Fresh Olives

12-1-2014, We are closing the sale of all fresh black olives effective today at 7:30 AM PST.

The fresh black olives sold for $22.00 per 10 pound box in 2014, they were Sevillano olives, we will not be offering any other types of black olives this year, the black yield was just not there. The fresh black Sevillanos came in two size categories, Giant/Jumbo and Colossal/Super Colossal. Recipes for curing are available at UC Davis Olive Curing PDF.

2014 has been a weird year for fresh olives, for 2015, watch our site or become a follower in Twitter or Facebook to get the most current information.

Effective 11-10-14, with the cold weather snap coming in the Midwest and East Coast, ordering fresh olives is a gamble, UPS trucks are not insulated, so the fruit may freeze. We will not be responsible for claims on frozen fruit. If you are interested in getting the latest information on our fresh olives availability, go here. When in season, they are picked fresh daily. When they sell out we will remove them from our site.

I just pulled my black olives out of the salt.... they've been there since I got the shipment from you. You know, I don't think I'll ever brine cure a black olive again. Send me your soggy.... your mushed, your slightly unhappy..... they all come out super happy after the salt!
